SACRAMENTO URBAN PROGRAM

The Sacramento Urban Program is part of the ministry of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA.  It is also a part of urban work in InterVarsity's Pacific Region: the Jesus, Justice & Poverty Institute.

We offer college and university students the opportunity to step out of their context for a short period of time to learn about the Kingdom of God and issues of injustice in the inner city. Originally inspired by John Perkin's Summer Project, Urban Programs have existed in InterVarsity since the mid-1970s.

Explore with us what transformation experiences  are happening in Sacramento among college students as well as InterVarsity's work around the Pacific Region.  We're glad you're here!

InterVarsity's Vision

InterVarsity's vision is to see:
students and faculty transformed
campuses renewed
and world changers developed.
